This policy explains what information MOTAZ FOUNDATION INC. ("Motaz Foundation", "we") collects through motazfoundation.org and through donations, and what we do with it.
This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser type) to run and secure the service.
Donations
Donations are processed by Stripe. When you donate, you enter your card details, name, email address, billing address and phone number on Stripe's secure page. We never receive or store your full card number.
From Stripe we receive your name, email address, billing address, phone number, the amount and date of your donation, and limited card details such as the card brand and last four digits. Stripe's handling of your information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
How we use your information
- To process your donation and send your receipt.
- To keep the financial records the law requires.
- To answer questions, receipt requests and refund requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud, and to confirm that a donation was made by the cardholder.
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the foundation, such as Stripe, or when the law requires it.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you.
How long we keep it
Donation records are kept for as long as accounting and legal obligations require. Other messages are kept only as long as we need them to help you.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing admin@motazazaiza.com. Records we must keep by law are retained for the required period.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
